New Beginnings

Well things have certainly changed for me over the last week
due to my poor health, I have had tyo resign from my work of
26 years which to me was sad as I had made alot of friends.
I still get to go to the long service watch ceramony so that
is at least something, but it is a big change for me and is going
to take a bit of getting use to eventhough I have been off for nearly
a year. I got a letter to say I am on the waiting list to see Respitory
Clinic at the hospital but that will be another four months though.
On the witchy side of things, last weeks tarot pull was so spot on with me
I just hope that I have the same luck this week lets hope. I can’t beleive
that in a few weeks us here in the south will be celebrating Baltane I mean,
where has the year gone one minute it was Jan now it’s October, better start looking
for flowers to make my lovely wife a baltane basket as I do that most years since
I came out of the broom closet lol. I hope everybody is having a good life so far
keep smiling keep safe and have a very Witchy Week.

Weather Getting Warmer

Well as we turn in to spring and start celebrating Ostara
here in the southern hemisphere, the weather has certainly
started to get warmer which is going to be great.
Especially when I get my health back on track so I can
then get back out on my bike and start exploring again.
So far it has gotten up to 23deg/cent which is good for a change,
I am hoping to find a good template to do a tarot journal for next year
and bind it myself as I do love to do bookbinding it is hmm fun releaxing
and at the end you have created someting totaly amazing.
For this website coming up I am hoping to get a calander page for
the dates of the wheel of the year for us in the southern part of the world,
as there is alot for the nothern part so lets hope I can get that sorted for the
rest of 2026 I am also hoping to get staff finished as got to do some sanding
and a resin piece for the top have a few wee projects like that but just getting to
them is pretty hard with my breathing and the blood clots on my lungs, which sadly I
also have had to put playing the recorder on hold as I can’t hold my breath for that
long of a period which makes that basically impossible to play or should I say play good.

Tarot

Ok this is just a bit of a short post really, and that is I am going to be adding
a Tarot page here and it will have a weekly pull not on the same day
every week but hopefully close to it. It will have the cards I pull and also a
brief decsription of the cards it will be a three card pull, it is just something
that I thought I might add to make things a bit more interesting around here, and
it might help someone who needs some insight, in case anyone is interested I will be
using the “Light Seers” Deck which in mu own opinion has some bloody amazing artwork,

Crafting

Crafting as we do practice the craft of course, so what have I been up to
a year or so ago I found a great piece of driftwood at the beach which I
thought would make a great staff. So I have carved out the Triple Moon
symbols in to it and going to fill it with maybe blue resin and cover the
bottom half as well just for design features lol but at the top I am carving
it out in a swirl type design so I can put some sort of crystal in there,
then of course bless it and use it in my craft, proberly also wipe it down with
a beeswax polish to protect it, but will buff out the resin.
Also I have made up a blade for my bookbinding plough so it will make the
edges look smooth and crisp and clean and of course straight.
So health wise I am still in a lot of pain from the nerve damage,
which is what the Doctors are thinking that it is, not getting much
sleep so making it heard to do things, that is why I haven’t been updating
my site as much as I would like to, hoping to be ablew to do that more
once I see the specilist.
I can’t beleive it is nearly the turning of the wheel again I mean wow,
where has this year gone going to be Spring here in the Southern Hemisphere
before we know it, be having to change out my candles again on my alter
I have managed to get together all my candle anointing oils in my Apothacary so happy about that and got the recipies all put in my Grimoire.
Speaking of Grimoires, I know this may be weird but as we are the owners of
our Grimoire’s what happens when we can’t practice our craft or pass over.
Has anyone thought of a Transfer of ownership spell/Incantation to pass it on
just a thought really.

Just thought, I would write a bit of a update on how things are going.
Life has been good well ok to tell the truth still in a lot of pain,
due to nerve damage can’t wait to see the specialist in August
to see where I am going wither it can be fixed if it is just the bone
irritating the nerve or the verve itself, was told if it is the nerve
then they won’t operate as the risks to high.
On to the witchy side of things as I know thats what everyone is here for
not my ramblings lol, I really haven’t been up to doing any spell work or
divination as of late due to my health not really in the mindset. I don’t
want to really do any incase i leave a pathway open it is always in the
back of my mind that is. With the wheel turning once again as we in the Southern
Hemisphere head in to Yule/Mid-Winter/Winter Solstice the year is moving fast.
In fact to tell the truth I haven’t even prepeared anything for this year so might
be just a candle ritual and some divination with my Tarot cards, which in all
honesty I haven’t spent much time with so they will not be happy about that.
I have also been getting things ready to paint my gravel bike but was going to
add a witchy like theme with some decals maybe broomstick on the down tube and
a pentagram on the front haha that would turn away any theives as it would be
so unique lol the colours that I have thought of is Red and Green(Red is my
favourite colour) Sitting here typing this up on a rainy Saturday morning in June
with the heat pump going keeping warm, Zimba has gone back to bed life of a cat
I suppose but anyway until next time.

Life is life

It has been one of them months, to tell the truth when everything that could go wrong
actually did. From bills, car repairs, to health you name it and it didn’t help when
I did a spread I pulled “The Tower” of all things I didn’t need that to tell me things
were getting worse.
I think though everything is going to get better the next couple of cards, were actually
very good so luck might be starting to be on my side. The wheel is about to start
to turn again and for us in the Southern part of the world we are coming
in to Samhain and can diffently feel the veil starting to get thinner,
I had better get my butt in to gear and start thinking what I am going to be doing
as I time is ticking on.While all this been happening I did get a bit of a
bonus during the weekend, to help me with my bookbinding I am teaching myself
book binding started late last year for something that has peaked my interest for a while,
but anyway what I got was the base with the rails cut out for a book plough so all
I have to do is make the top part where the blade site for trimming the
text block so yippee one thing that has gone right for me. Sorry this post
has been a bit of a mixture between ranting etc. Hope everyone has a witchy week

Autumn Equniox

With today being the Autumn Equniox the wheel has turned again,
I will celebrating on the 22nd due to some health issues, not
wanting to perform a ritual when not really 100% as I dont’t
know what the affect that would have.
But waking up and seeing the sun rising the reds and pinks
hughes in the sky is a pretty amazing thing to see,
I haven’t updated my blog in a while due to some health issues
I had a bbroken rib and it caused some nerve damage so in alot
of pain due to that waiting oon a operation, and can’t work.
But in saying that I am teaching myself bookbinding and have
done acouple of books, got the manuscripts from guttenburg.com
some some really good classics from there.
Yesterday was able to go for a walk through our public gardens
and got some acorns which had falllen to decorate my alter
and being Sunday today will also pulll some cards to see what
they have to say, my at the present favourite deck is
“The lightseeres Deck” the artwork on them is totally amazing
from the colours to the images on the cards them selves.
